New Additions

Our landlords are going to hate us when they see our apartment.  But I will still hold to the fact that the tenets below us have a freaking hammock hanging from their ceiling - so nothing we do to our walls could be that bad.

 Bought some amazing brackets from Anthropologie.

 Almost finished product!  + our prized Van Gogh

snagged at the ever-reliable Goodwill

So you get some context, despite the disaster in 

our apartment.

So we still have to stain the wood and figure out some other lovely things to go at one end of the shelf, but we are so excited!  We have been wanting to splash color and texture on this wall for months!

 The stain sat out overnight to dry.  Still smells this morning.

 Oh yea.

To quote my husband: "That is way better than some floating crap from Ikea."
